YAY! Halloween! I <3 Halloween more than any other holiday, even Christmas! Unfortunately I have to work today, but I do work with little kids so I can see all their cute little costumes when their parents come into shop! I didn't have time to find a costume (I was gone the good majority of this week) but I'm going to pull one out of my ass. I've got a pair of Tinkerbell wings (from the release of the movie), some cat ears, a few elements from my Harley Quinn costume... yeah, I think I can make this work.

So anyway, HAPPY HALLOWEEN EVERYONE!

In other news:

Palm Springs was really fun. I got a bunch of pictures from the Living Desert, I'll see if I can post them when I get a chance.

Never visit the Los Angeles International Airport. We almost missed our flight because it's so horribly organized. And we got sardined into a bus so bad it made Japanese subways look nice and empty.

I went and saw Cirque du Freake: The Vampire's Assistant. It wasn't an excellent movie, but it was still pretty good. It wasn't quite as good as I was hoping, but I'll give it a solid B+ for effort. The thing is that it's SO overacted that it actually works. Go figure.

I finally watched through Season 2 of Metalocalypse. I never had a chance before because of life and stuff. You know how it is. So I bought it on DVD and all I have to say is... POOR CHARLIE! D8

lol, anyway, so I got home last night from our Wednesday hang out with our best guy friend at 3am, and decided "Oh, what the heck. I'll read a little more of it before I go to sleep". Next thing I knew it was 6am, and I was done with it, lol. Go fig. It has lots of awesome interesting information, and the fact that it's done in interviews with the bots and humans from that world itself gives such a great insight into their individual personalities.

The only annoying part? Now I have to go through my fanfics and fix all the freaking errors I've discovered I made (COUGHunitsoftimeCOUGH). I could just leave them how they are and assume people understand that I didn't have the Almanac at the time and didn't know the proper things, because they're still really really good (GO READ THEM [link] SHAMELESS SELF ADVERTISING), but it's my own anal-ness that will pull through and make me want to make them abso-fucking-lutely perfect. Wow, I don't know why my language got a lot worst, lol. SPORADIC SWEARING!

In other news, I'm going to Stocker Farm's Field of Screams this Friday, that's gonna be awesome x3. And at the end of the month my parents and I are going to be spending almost a week in Palm Springs, and will be back just in time for Halloween. Which is really REALLY good cause I love Halloween with all my heart and wouldn't want to miss spending it in my home town.

Let's see here... saw Cloudy With a Chance of Meatballs. It was good, funny, not as great as I hoped but I wasn't horribly disappointed. I recommend renting it when it comes on DVD to see if it's your cup of tea (no pun intended). Oh, saw Zombieland, too. If you have to see any movie right now and aren't adverse to blood and seeing zombie-heads get smashed open like watermelons, go see this movie. It's by far one of the best I've seen lately.

Started playing Brutal Legend (or rather watching my best guy friend play it, that's why we were at his house so late last night, lol). FUCKING AWESOME GAME. Or should I say, FUCKING METAL. If you like metal, classic hardcore musicians, or just playing the most awesome face-melting, setting-on-fire, head-severing, limb-hacking, guitar-playing (YES!) battle sequences you can find, play this game. It'll blow your mind.

So, I've been thinking. Yes, it's a miracle. Someone call off the fire department, that's what the smoke coming from my ears has been all about.

I was thinking of posting my Transformers fanfics here since I write way more than I draw (you can currently find them at [link] GRATUITOUS SHAMELESS SELF PROMOTION), and I think I'd feel better if I put them here where if some of them (which technically have content not allowed on fanfiction.net) I can be assured people can still read them. Why don't I put them on adultfanfiction.net? Cause I only like reading fanfics there, people rarely actually review there. Hmm, maybe I'll make the decision after I've finished my Halloween fanfic.

Hi-Def: Alright, everyone, according to the new protocol put forth by Decepticon higher ups I now have to list all of my completed missions... *looks at list, sweatdrops* ...despite how few I've completed so far... and list them here and update it whenever I complete a new one and send it to them at the end of the month though I'm not completely sure why I have to do such a thing but they are my superiors and thusly I can't really complain or anything because I don't want to end up in trouble or something though I do like to think that someday they'll realize that I'm only trying to help even though I fail a lot but it's not my fault I simply took a bit of damage my processor a while ago and I think it messed up my Hero Protocol even though a lot of people insist I don't have a Hero Protocol and that it doesn't exist but I think I'd know if I didn't have one it's not my fault no one here seems to have heard of all of my awesome adventures as a Decepticon hero before they must have all just been too busy fighting the cause to hear them and I am NOT a weakling I wish they'd stop saying that I've defeated many Autobots in my time I my damage I took just seems to have messed up my fighting abilities... *continues to ramble on and on and on*

So, this week I'm going on my family's annual vacation to Long Beach, WA for the kite festival. That means when I get back I'm going to be drowning in DevART messages. Yay. I think. LOL

Oh, and on the 24th I'll be going to a midnight release party for Batman: Arkham Asylum, and I'll be dressing up as Dark Knight Harley Quinn as we envisioned her. Maybe I'll be generous and grace y'all with pictures of it. ;3
